I think many people use blogs as a way to express themselves. They can write their opinions or ideas about things they know and share it with people. Another thing is that most people use the internet to browse things, so if your blog is easy to access you can get your views out to a bigger crowd. This makes it a type of communication. When it comes to people debating whether or not the internet is safe I believe that it is safe, if you use it correctly and your smart about it. Obviously you wouldn’t want to put your full name, address or what city and state you live in on the internet so that anyone could find it. I also think if you educate kids and teens they will be more aware about what they write and who they talk to when they are on the computer. Writing blogs in lit class sounds interesting and sort of exciting. It gives us a way to read other students writing that we would otherwise miss out on. Posting comments about our classmates work lets them know that their writing entertained us and we can also give them constructive criticism. We can also see their personality come out in their blog.
